National Suicide Prevention Month
Every September, we pause to recognize National Suicide Prevention Month, a time to raise awareness, break down stigma, and remind first responders and their families that they are never alone. For firefighters, EMTs, law enforcement, corrections officers, probation officers, and 911 dispatchers, the toll of the job often lingers long after the shift ends. Too many carry this weight silently.
At Priority Wellness Campaign, we believe silence should never be the answer. Through peer support, education, and community connection, we provide a lifeline of hope to first responders who are struggling.
The Silent Emergency Fundraiser
This September, we’re launching The Silent Emergency, a month-long campaign dedicated to raising awareness and critical funds for our Peer Support Program.
Goal: $3,000 raised by September 30
Impact: Funds will help us sustain and expand our free, confidential peer support services for first responders.
Why: First responders answer every call for help; this fundraiser ensures someone is there to answer theirs.
